I'm considering buying a Yugo SKS from AIM Surplus, and I don't have my C&R (I know, I know). I've used the FFL finders, and there are some in my area, but I'd rather deal with someone here. Any body an FFL or know an FFL in the SA/Austin are that is inexpensive for transfers?
Thanks!!

Call Jim at the Cost + 10% gunshop. I believe he charges 10% for transfers so with an SKS, that wouldn't be much. 302-3826.

Awesome. Thanks for the tip.
Just get your C&R. It will only take a month or two & I doubt AIM/Century/J&G/etc. will run out before then.

I plan on doing that and I have my forms on order, but I've heard that it can take up to a few months to get the license. I still plan on doing it, but I'd like to get one sooner, as that would fill a hole in my arsenal.

I recall on the High Road forum there is a guy in Austin that advertising $5 transfer fees. It is always at the bottom of his postings. Can't recall his username, a search might turn it up.

Great. I'll look for him. What forums do you look at there? That might narrow downthe search a bit.
Thanks!!

I believe I've seen it on the Rifle forum. He may post on others though. It's part of his signature or whatever you call it on his posts, down at the bottom of every post.
