How tight does a Vortex need to be?
Mine is hand tight. The way the flutes are designed, gas generated through the muzzle will tighten it and keep it tight.
15 foot pounds if you use a torque wrench.
You won't need a crush washer or peel washer unless you wish to index the Vortex to some specific location.
