Considered by many to be one of the best flash hiders for your AR15, M16, or M4 rifle. Virtually eliminates flash and provides excellent performance with night vision. 4 open port design. If your going to get a flash hider; get one of the best. Includes 1 crush washer. Retails for $29.95

They are very good. Maybe marginally less effective at reducing flash than the vortex, but they also cost half as much. Plus with the toothed end they look bad ass. Still they are much better than the traditional birdcage flash hider. You can get them from a number of places for $23 or so.

They are substancially better than an A2 flash hider. With the comparisons I have done, even shorter barrels with a phantom far exceed longer barreled rifles with A2's. An A2 is better than nothing, but with a phantom the flash is almost non-existant.
Also, the phantom works as a compensator as well.
It's an excellent flash hider, my personal favorite.

Those pictures pretty well sum it up.
I switched from Vortex to Phantom and am happy, happy, happy.
