My IDPA club is looking for some steel or reactive type targets to incorporate in our matches. We are looking for "drop turners" and other reactive targets in addition to the standard "pepper poppers". Anybody know any good suppliers with quality products and reasonable prices?

MGM does have some great products and some really nice people but I have to plug Action Target, Inc. because I work there and feel that they are the best steel targets on the market. I haven't found any better Steel targets and I own and shoot on some MGM and Porta Target targets.

My daughter is studying to be a vet at Texas A&M. While she was in high school she took an ag/shop class in welding. I took a similar class in college and found it to be fun, interesting and useful throughout my life, even though I do nothing related to welding in my career. Anyway,
Check in at the local high school or college, or techinical school and try to get into contact with the instructors. Welding students have to build projects and this would be an excellent one. If you can provide measurements and photos or physical examples of what you want, it is possible that you can get your steel targets for just the cost of materials.
My daughter, last year, made me three 8" steel circles with flat bases, and a full size popper for under $100 in materials. They work great and she shoots them with me from time to time.

MGM, top notch in the business.
Where in Arkansas are you? If you're somewhere within a couple hours of Memphis, I'd be happy to help out fabricating a couple of projects.
I don't weld & fab steel for a living, but I've been known to build a rollcage or two in my spare time here and there, and I've got a fairly nice welder and plasma cutter acess from time to time.
I've wanted to build myslef a plate rack for a while, but haven't found a pull-to-reset system I like enough to copy yet.
