I have been slack at posting pics of it. But here is my 3 month old Nighthawk with an array of mods by them. Probably 600 rounds through it not a single problem.
Specs are:
Talon 2 bobtail
strong side safety only
checkered front strap and bobtail
Heine strt. 8 night sites
serrate rear of slide to match
no slide markings
std. barrel and guide rod
flush barrel w/ bushing, crown, and bevel bushing and bead blast
bevel bottom of slide 1/16 about double their norm
flush slide stop and recess frame
Ed Brown Beaver tail
Greider mid length trigger
black slide
gun metal gray frame
Alumagrips

And what the heck here is one of the 5" Nighthawk Talon. Which started life as a Talon 2.

Glenn Beck voice off. Excellent choice of features, to my thinking.

Beautiful weapons. I take it and trust that Nighthawk has ended those issues with reliability they once had?

Simply steller art peices.

Bill,
Like I said the Talon was a Talon 2. It would not run. Jammed all the time. It had one of those sti recoilmaster systems in it. I think that was the deal. I was going to send it back a 3rd time, when I called Craig and told him it was still acting up he said that since I had another Talon 2 on order (the first one in the pics) why not let him build the troubled pistol into a fullsize for me. So thats how I ended up with the fullsize. And to be honest it had to go back for a new slide as the first one on it shot a one hole group but the fit was terrible. Side to side clunked when shook. Now it's all good and still shoots wonerful.

i dont like 2 tone 1911.however the black slide and gunmetal gray frame look really nice.Shiny chrome/SS and black/blue slide just dont look good .i like your custom NH much better than the origonal because of that.

If I was in the market to buy another premium 1911 I'd probably try a Nighthawk too. They seem to be getting lots of good press lately. Good products and service hopefully forces other 1911 makers to take notice. I like how they made the slide stop flush against the frame like my SA Pro.

not to steal any thunder... but my Talon looks almost exactly like yours. Mine has a Bull Barrel appears to be about the only difference.

Here's mine...

And it's also my CCW pistol. :)
