View Full Version : beretta92 LH question?
Just noticed something at the range the other day. When firing my buddies Taurus or Beretta 92, I always complained about the trigger being gritty. And my shots reflected it but no one elses shots were that bad with those pistols. So I got to thinking: "whats the deal?" Well, I figured it out- My thumb presses on the grip panel right over the trigger bar. And the trigger bar was rubbing on the grip panel. Thats why the trigger pull was so terrible; it was the pressure of the grip on the trigger bar. Any one else experienced this?
I was an instructor at the Army's MP school when we first started using Berettas. This would sometimes happen if a left hander would use a too tight grip. But, like you, for a while I thought there was something wrong with the pistol.
Us dang left-handers are always causing trouble.
So do I need to loosen my grip? Or is my manly strength too much for the girly beretta.:dancing: Yeah we like to complicate it!
