Meprolights for a S&W 1911 Commander Scandium?

yes,that is correct,sights made for the 59 series novac cut are what you need for the 1911sc.

Now I am a little unsure. Just got off the phone with Kimber and I'm told there is Meprolight ML-11765 for the Smith 1911s that's supposed to fit.

Interesting, that's a new P/N, and no one seems to have them in stock.

I can tell you for certain, that the MPL11735 MEPROLT TD S&W 39,59,69 NOVAK RS FXD DO fit the SW1911s. I did manage to break the front site installing mine :frown:, but fortunately, CDNN was selling FRONT sites only for the Model 39/59/69 for only $20 so I got a new one and was more careful the second time :upeyes:

BUT, that being said, I would go for the new P/N if I were to buy another set.
