I'm in the market for a CCO style 1911. Colt, Kimber, and Detonics all make models that fit the bill. The Kimber CDP Compact looks like it has the most features I like. Are there any other companies making 1911s with an officer frame and commander slide? Thanks.

Both Dan Wesson and Springfield made one.

Wilson Combat and Les Baer also make models you are looking for. I have guns from both companies and they are top notch. My current carry gun is a stainless Les Baer Stinger. It's accurate, very reliable and carries well.
NightHawk is making a true CCO: Commander slide (4.25 inch barrel), with an officers frame.
Most companies produce CCO-like 1911's with 4 inch bull barrels.
Also, Colt CCO's are still floating around.

Thanks for your responses. The pistols from Les Baer, Wilson, and Nighthawk all look great. Unfortunately for me they are out of my price range. I'll probably end up with a new Kimber or Colt unless I come across a great deal on a used higher end pistol. Thanks again.

Colt has a dandy CCO out right now called the Gunsite CCO. I understand it can be had for about $1100 or so. GREAT GUN too.

Smith & Wesson has a version of the Gunsite CCO out as well. I think it's under $1000. I've seen like new Colt CCOs for $650.
