Wilson is building my KZ45 full size at the moment, and hopefully I'll have it in a few weeks. I've shot my buddy's and really liked it.
It's unique, being a polymer frame 1911. The main reason I wanted it was that I think the polymer frame, with no removable grips, will be easier to clean. This one's going to be my main range 1911, at least for a while, while I give my steel Baer and custom gun a rest (and save up for a Springfield PRO). The Baer is going out for custom work anyway, so I probably won't see it for a couple months.
I enjoy shooting my 1911's the most, but my USP45 or one of the Glocks ends up getting more trigger time, simply because they're quick and easy to clean thoroughly.
Interesting note... I thought they have MIM hammers and sears. Wilson's website lists the parts used in the KZ45, and they list the "value line" hammer and sear, both made of MIM. Turns out that Wilson no longer uses the MIM parts in the KZ45, and they just never updated their website. That reminds me, I need to check to see if they corrected it after realizing their mistake!
