I've always been skeptical of "ghost rings" on a pistol.
I've always thought that the whole purpose/benefit of GRs occured when brought close to the eye (rifle shooting).

I've shot with them (admittedly, very little on a borrowed gun)...both my accuracy and speed suffered.

They'd be fine for close in, point shooting type work. But, terrible for any "bull's eye" type accuracy shooting.

Agreed. They look neat but I think the idea is more a novelty than anything else. Then again, if I had really poor vision, those just might be the ticket.
