Thread subscriptions. MAKE THE EMAILS STOP!

How the heck do I change it so that I don't get an email everytime someone posts on a thread I have posted in? Or am I going to have to change my email address to a fake one? This forum isn't set up like a normal V Bulletin forum and I can't find the option.

Go to you User CP (Control Panel), click edit options, then select no for Use 'Email Notification' by default?

Doesn't that shut off all emails though? Oh well, I guess that will work. Thanks

If you don;t want E-Mails to a particular thread you're posting to, simply uncheck the Email notification just below the message box

No. Under your User CP, in the Edit Options section, if you check "NO" where it says...

"Use 'Email Notification' by default?
Using this option emails you whenever someone replies to a thread that you have participated in."...

...It will stop the thread reply emails. If you still want to receive email notifications when you get a Private Message, that option is two spots down from the standard Email Notification block.

OK, well I have the emails stopped now, but I dont have any new thread subscriptions....WTF? I don't want to see any email every time someone replies to a thread that I posted in, but every time I do post, I want to be able to find the thread again in my "User CP"



(For the record, I run a VB forum too!!! So that's why I am extra confused)
