Hey guys, not afraid to share that I'm a big fan of the TV show Lost & while watching the season finally last night I noticed that Jack handed Kate a Kahr just before they headed off to confront "The Others"... to me it looked like an MK Series.
Just thought I'd share/see if anyone else noticed. :)

I noticed that too ... when I saw it I said "Ooh look an MK Kahr!" and my wife just rolled her eyes.
Since Lost and Alias are produced by the same production company, I wonder if its the same Kahr MK that Jack Bristo carried in the first season of Alias.

 My wife one upped yours as not only did she roll her eyes at me, but also followed it up with an "Oh great, here we go again...” comment. :)

Hell yes I noticed that.... I always call out stuff when I see it on tv. They had lots of SKS's on the show, always had Glocks and M9s etc too.
That last episode was INSANE!!! I'm totally hooked on the show. I love 24 and have watched every second from day 1 when the show came out several years ago, but..... Lost is great.
Course, 24 next season will be a crazy mess, that's for sure.

My wife does that, but silently using the "looking over the tops of her glasses" method.
It's going to be even worse now. I was over at Butch's not long ago & he showed me something in his collection; a heavy rubber (it doesn't flex) G17 that is, to even a discerning eye, just like the real thing - except for the scratches on the bottom where it's used as a movie gun when they need to actually drop one on the floor of that concrete parking structure and/or LE walks up to the guys who's 10-42 and slides it away with his foot.
But I'll tell you if someone pulled that on me, we'd be in it. Now I've got to listen for the correct sound, but then again there are some pretty good Foley artists out there. (And, no, it doesn't say Glock 7 on the slide.) ;)
On another note, Butch & I called the Kahr/AO guy on their M1 Carbine displayed at the Annual NRA Meeting in Milwaukee. The early models had the peep-sight installed backwards. The up-side is that Butch called it to Dottie's attention and she got right back, indicating that was early production, they'd caught it, and all later ones are correct, still offering to fix it on their dime if you get one with it pinned in backwards. Still a nice lady.
