Mga Sirs, question of ignorance.

Is the frame for .40 or .45 (STI polymer frame kit or other brand like SV or SPS) the same frame for a super 38. I've checked out some shops and the 2 calibers mentioned seems to be the only frames available at the moment. If it's the same, is there anything on the frame kit I need to replace e.g. ejector, etc.

Thanks in advance for your wisdom...

all pistol calibers use the same modular frame. you just change the ejector for the intended caliber.

supplemental licenses for a change in caliber (the top end part) while retaining the frame is allowed, i just don't know how much it will cost.

so you can have a .45 cal, .40 cal and a .38 super slide and barrel assembly to use in one frame
