Whats the big difference between the Colt XSE Government Model, and the Springfield Loaded Full Size.
Are there any other models that are comperable to these 2 that I may have over looked?
I would prefer to stay away from external extractors and internal safties.

The XSE has the aforementioned firing pin safety and the Springer does not.

Awesome Thanks for the swift response.
So I guess... are there any other value packed 1911's similar to the Springfield Loaded Full Size, that do not have the external extractor, or internal safety?
Get the Springfield - it meets your requirements (and leaves more Colts for me  ).
Offhand, I can only think of Dan Wesson and STI Trojan that doesn't have the internal safeties. Kimber has/had a couple of models out with internal extractor and no internal safeties.
