Put 150 trouble free rounds down range in pouring down rain. Gun is easily capable of 2" groups at 15 yards. Points and handles like a 1911 should.

Nice gun - very nice :)
nice, very verynice.i just have a problem with the gunsite logo.Their hawk or bird logo looks like an indian pony painting with finger paints.a logo ,especially one on a handgun should be bolder, more detailed, well to be honest not look like someones 6 year old daughter drew it.
im sure the gunsite gig is a muliti million doller corperation.they can afford to do better.

Sweet.
What do you think of those 50/50 grips?

Spober:
I believe the logo is a raven and its old school Gunsite. No one would dare alter it, at the risk of insulting the GURU himself! It’s a bit of Jeff Cooper’s legacy… I like it.
Pondmountain:
I have the full checkered Alumagrips on anther 1911 and never really thought about it. I got the 50/50 just to be different. They are actually really neat. I’d swear the checkering is where most of the pressure is applied by one’s hand. I’d get them again.
