Well, I'd put about 150 rounds through my new PM9 and was still having some failures to go into battery when I noticed a scratchy feeling on my finger whenever I pulled the trigger. Looked at the gun and I had about a 1/4 inch of piano wire spring sticking through a small hole in the frame just to the left of the trigger. (The spring itself clearly made the hole.) I thought I was getting to the "broken in" stage but all I got was the broken stage. The spring was not the trigger spring. Don't know what it was but the gun still seemed to function. I took it back to the dealer and he's sending it back to Kahr for repair. I want to like that little gun so much but after reading the posts here and the spring problem, I just don't know.

Sounds like a walking "trigger pin retaining pin" to me...

You could very well be right. That's where it sticks out. The dealer and I both looked at a new one and didn't see that hole. "Getting old isn't for sissies!" What would be the "easy fix?" And thanks for your comment.

No other pin nor spring it that location on the poly Kahr.

Some are covered by polymer & some are perfectly flush so they blend right in to the poly frame.

Squish/rough up the end sticking out just a bit (that'll make sure it doesn't walk anymore) & then push it back in with a small punch.

Well, my dealer called and said he got the PM9 back from Kahr. I won't be able to pick it up until the next gun show (17 July.) It would be nice if they replaced the slide and barrel since I'm in the "peen prone" serial number range (VC01XX) but that would probably be too much to expect.

Mine's had the spring sticking for some time. Just whack it back in there?
If you're lucky this will be your only problem with the pistol.

That and not locking the slide back on an empty mag are the only problems with this pistol. I like it a lot. It's no Nighthawk but it fulfills its purpose.
