I picked up a new in the box PM9 last weekend and just got it to the range this afternoon. Everything was perfect (except for my aim) while using the standard 6 round magazine, but everytime that I used the "extra" 7 round mag, it would always fail to fully load the last round. Occasionally, other rounds would fail to load fully, but if the gun was whacked, it usually would fire. After I ran 100 rounds through the gun, I was packing up to go and asked one of the employees if he could see any difference in the two mags (other than the length, of course). After carefully examining it for about one second, he pointed out that the 7 round mag. had "40" etched in the magazine. :frown: I assume that this is the magazine for the PM40. I tried to insert a .40 round in the mag and it went in just like it was made for one. UGH ! I will try calling the dealer tomorrow, but I'll bet that I have to go back to Kahr for the exchange.
Anybody with a PM40 want to trade your "Extra" PM9 Mag for a like-new 7 round 40 mag?
