View Full Version : Here I go again!
A while back sent my PM9 back for the peening problem and Kahr replaced the barrel and slide. Well its starting to get the curl at the front of the barrel hood again! I guess I have to keep shooting it until it fails to go into battery. Thats when Kahr will give me another RMA. Not Good!!!:frown:
Unreal... You have my sympathy. I bought a PM-9 in '04 and have not put enough rounds through it to find out if it is one of the offenders or not (I'm very busy and un-rich). I'm curious now to find out. If it doesn't develop problems, I guess I will have a most valuable item. If it does, I guess Kahr is going to proceed to annoy the hell out of me.
On a more positive note, I have an old MK-40 elite98 which is (after many early problems) 100% reliable. I never would have guessed that what began as a huge source of misery would end up becoming such a hot commodity: an older 100% Kahr. I guess I really lucked out on that one. Who knows? Maybe after much misery you will eventually end up with a 100% PM-9. Good luck and just be extremely patient and diligent. After all, you really don't have a choice.

What is up with Kahr? They don't have a handle on this problem and are just swapping out bad parts for new bad parts....

EDH,
How many rounds did it take to become noticable? I'm wondering if my new one at 300 is going to be OK or if it is too early to tell...
The first time the slide refused to go into battery at 375rds.(2 weeks) This time about 1300rds.
