Just my observation, serendipity c-more has no blast shield..

so is the slide ride...

get the serendipity if its cheaper. if you want to use an aluminum one side mount, puputulin lang naman paa ng serendipity

btw, the allchin mount has a built in blast shield

Doc, yung sa yo ba hindi madaling magloosen yung screws nung mount sa frame?

parehas ba yung gap between the mount and the top of the slide ng alchin at serendipity?

thanks
:)

makoy: naka loctite yung allchin sa frame. the mounting height can be adjusted. yung sakin nga medyo mababa pagka-mount

ah, ok,was worried kasi na mas madali magloosen yung single sided mount kesa sa serendipity. would probably go for the alchin then.

Doc, ok ba yung dawson trigger group?

thanks!

Doc hindi ka na ba President?:)

...or get the Extreme Engineering set. lahat ng maka-try ng EE namin nagugulat sa trigger pull. even lito pible liked it.

Related Question:

Has anyone mounted a slide ride C-More on a glock here in the Philippines? Internet sources claim that the slide ride was built specifically to take the pounding that a direct Glock mount gives without loss of zero. (Daw!)

Would highly appreciate any input from people who have had experience or knowledge in this regards. As well as other methods of mounting for Glocks, sinceI can only find Glock frame mounts on the internet, none at all so far in our stores.

The weight and size of a cmore doesn't make it ideal for direct slide mounting. Reciprocating mass (slide) of a gun needs to be as light as possible without sacrificing reliability and structural stability. That's why you never see cmores directly bolted to slides. Unless it's for a specific purpose?

Go for a serendipity if you want to keep total weight to the minimum, lalo na kung steel frame gamit mo. Also, with thin dust covers (traditional 1911 widebodies) where the cmore is mounted, I don't think it will hold up kung single-sided mount gagamitin mo, more so kung nilagyan mo pa ng gas pedal on the same side. However, dito sa pinas, madali lang mag pa build-up ng dust cover so pede na rin siguro.

The good thing about seredipities is that kung mag-bago isip mo, you can easily cut off the legs and use another mount. ;)

You can try a Docter sight. It is directly mounted on the slide. I believe shihan still has one for sale. :)

Mc_oliver, thanks for the reply. Unfortunately I haven't found a serendipity for a Glock here in the PHilippines yet.

Batangueno, really appreciate the suggestion. I can't find a way to get in touch with shihan so far.

Paging shihan.... requesting a PM as to availability and price of Docter sight. Thanks!
