Horahhhh! To all of you who served in this unit. I served in the OIF 04-05 tour. My first 4 months in CENTCOM Command in Qatar, as a Protective Services Agent then my last 8 months in Iraq doing prisoner processing, convoy escorts, and all other dirty deeds, with a 2 month extention doing absolutely nothing wasting taxpayer dollars. We came, we saw and,we conquered! It was a hell of a tour. So much like hell I retired when I returned home. Fed up with a senseless war, the Armys BS and a bad attitude which is not good when you lead throops. So I packed it in and never looked back. My heart is still with the men and women still there trying to do the right thing and doing their duty as ordered. This Bud is for you! Thank you all for putting it on the line.

Glad you made it back. Is that a Reserve MP Co. or AC?

I was in Qatar last year in the CENTCOM JIOC. Was in Iraq as a contractor in 04 and went thru an ambush/fire-fight/IED attack. We send many rounds back at the BGs. Scary as hell.

Back on active duty in VA.

Cool...I probably saw you when you were packing Abizaid in and out of the op center AO. Green Beans...you would think the prices would be better over there. Also had a habit of getting Orange Julius after working out in the Gym.

If it weren't for us Reserve and Guard guys, the Army couldn't do diddly.

Yeah I hear ya times have changed along with AC attitudes toward us weekend soldiers. Doha was nice as long as you were locked and loaded. Those traffic circles were worst than the Datona 500 on steroids. The general was a pain to work for! A real primadonna. The assignment was dangerous and the hours were long. The hodgies motared us 3 times while I was there and all of them missed and hit the oil storage facilitly next store or whatever that was. Lollipop road ( Test track road)was the MP/Chevy Taho racing strip.
