On all my LE duty weapons I have always used Trijicon night sights. However, I have heard the Heinie Straight 8 Slant Pro night sights are better because your eye picks up the vertical alignment faster than the horizontal alignment.
Has anyone used both and which did you prefer? I would appreciate anyone's input, especially fellow LEO's?
How about any LEO's who have used fiber optic sights (front only, front & rear etc.) in a lower light setting i.e. night/graveyard shift? Obviously they wouldn't perform as well as tritium in total darkness, but how much ambient light is needed to really see the fiber optic?
