What should the average 100yd group be for a Bushy M4?
I have some factory Fed AE223 55gr FMJ that groups like crap. I get much better groups out of handloaded Win 55gr FMJ and 25.0gr H335.

I'm wasn't aware that Bushmaster produced an M4. I do see they have an M4-type. ;)
Iron sighted results from a Bushmaster "Patrolmen's Carbine", 10rd groups, above average to good shooters, off the top of my head:
XM193, 3"+/- at 100yd (AE223, M855 about the same IIRC)
Black Hills 55 FMJ and JSP (both reman) 2-3"+/- at 100yd
Black Hills 68 OTM (reman) 2"+/- at 100yd
Mil frangible 4"+/-

Since they won the lawsuit, can't they use the term M4 all they want?
At any rate, people refer to M4's as a certain look, not company.
2" groups at 100 yards with a stock AR is probably pretty close to how it should shoot.

Nice looking AR there, Colorado! Is that the sling that came with it or is it one you added (and what brand is it)??

BTW, I shoot at the 'feet' of our hog plate at 300yds with mine (12x scope, fully supported, no wind) and with my personal M193 reloads (55grn FMJBT bullets) I'm able to hit those 'feet' (they're 2˝" x 3" rectangles). That is also 1 MOA accuracy.
BTW, I LOVE my AR!! And as for my scope, without it I can hardly see the hog plate let alone the 'feet'. A 12x scope with these eyes is the minimum I need for that distance.

What type of scope is that?

I was generalizing among all AR's out there with most kinds of ammo. Yours came with a 2-stage trigger too, most stock AR's don't come with 2-stage triggers.
That looks like a standard issue GI sling to me. Or, I should say, it looks like the standard issue sling some 30 years ago when I was in.

Accuracy really depends on the shooters capability. Generally, a chrome lined barrel will shoot between 1MOA - 5MOA.
Things that can improve or aid a weapons accuracy:
2 stage trigger
Quality ammo
Free Floated barrel
