Guys I have a question that is probably going to sound VERY stupid, but I have to ask it. I'm a NEWB when it comes the EBRs, in fact so new I don't even have mine yet. I enjoy working with my hands a lot so I figured I'd try to build my first one and while I was pricing the parts from the various websites I visit, I found a COMPLETE Bushmaster lower with fixed CAR stock on closeout for about the same price as it would cost to build my own. I jumped on it and ordered it and it should be here in a few weeks. I figured I'd buy an upper real soon after that, put the two together and be good to go, now on to my stupid question: do I need the rifle/carbine buffer and spring? I looked on AR15.com build section and they say that needs to be put in after the stock is installed and IDK if my complete lower will be coming with that. I'm looking at a few different uppers and none of them say that they come with it either. Is that a part that I have to buy seperate or does it come with one of the two peices I will be buying. Also, if it is a part I need to purchase where can I look to find one?
Another question, does anyone have any suggestions for where to find good deals on ammo for just general plinking and messing around?
Thanks everyone for your time and your willingness to put up with my lack of knowledge on the subject, lol, I'm a little :freak: until I get to know these things a bit more that is. Thanks again!
