Hello all, newB here and I wanted to say that this site is great.. Small problem, I just bought a new G36 and asked to have some night sights put on. The armorer said no problem, tried to install and something about the front site screw on the N.S. wouldnt fit...He said it would hit the barrel and not seat right. Any ideas whats going on and any suggestions on where to buy a set of tijicons? Im looking for the least obtrusive ones possible too, slimline gun so hopefully I can get some slick sights.
TIA

Sounds like he isn't familiar with the 36?
This gun takes a modified front sight screw with thinner head. Trij. DOES sell same as a set for the 36. don't know what their part number is but a call via their 800 # is a sure bet:
Brownell's part number is: 892-000-007

Thanks for the reply.
I overnighted a set of AmeriGlo smooth operator NS from them directly. I spoke with Rick and he explained to me the issue my armorer was having and guided me in the right direction for what I wanted.
I ordered the sights online a little afternoon on wednesday and got them to my door a 11am thursday (today).
I was a bit confused by the "extra screw" they voluntaraly supplied so I emailed ameriglo and got a response within minutes. I then called them and Rick walked me through the install (front and rear sights). Then referred me back to G.T. to work on my low and left firing.
Awesome customer service, Im going to put 100 or so rnds through tomorrow.
~thanks Rick
