The wife's former car ('97 Nissan Maxima) wouldn't start yesterday morning (for the umpteenth time), so since we had some time off we went to look at new cars. We've been needing to replace her car for a while, and the PT Cruiser looked promising. Decent mileage, lots of room, and looks great (I realize it's a love it or hate it sort of thing...I personally love it.)
Found a good deal and now we are the proud owners of a 2006 Black PT Cruiser. The black looks great with the chrome accents, drives nice, plenty of room (I'm 6'4") and it was well within our budget. I'm smitten with this car...I've caught myself walking out to look at it more than a few times in the past couple of days.
She's driving it up to the Smokies this weekend (luggage wagon for me and our motorcyle riding club). I can't wait to try it and my new Triumph out on Deal's Gap.
