View Full Version : Where to Get an FR-8?
I read an article in a gun rag a few months a go and I think that I would like to pick up an FR-8.
Problem is, I can't find anyone selling them.
Any ideas?

They were plentiful years ago but now they've dried up. I wondered if anyone hasn't thought of making their own from all of the cheap surplus mausers that are in lousy shape. Oh well just my 2 cents.
I remember just a few years ago they were like 69.99. Now if you find one they run about 450.00 on the auction boards.

Look in Shotgun news, I just looked at the most reecent one last week at the range. I don't remember the name of the distributor but they had them for I think 269.99, the ad was about 1/2 way through the book on the bottom left. Great little rifles I love mine!
here you go but they're kniwn to be shadey

I sold a FR8 about a year ago..big mistake. I always wanted to replace it. I was at a gun show in Atlanta saturday 7-15 just about ready to leave and walked by a table with one in a rack. The guy wanted 200.00 for it, I only had 175 in cash and he took it. Smiling all the way home. Metal in real good shape..good bore, stock a little rough but redeemable. All serial nos match
