View Full Version : Crimson Trace - great service
I was adjusting my CT laser on my G34 a week or so ago and I foolishly fired the gun with the tiny allen wrench in the laser. Of course the wrench popped out and I couldn't find it - so I write CT an email and ask them for the size so I can go buy another one. Got a reply today that they're sending me one for free! That's great service.
I've bought grips straight from CT.
One day I was sitting here reading on GT and the phone rang, It was CT wondering how I liked my grips and if there was anything else they could do for me!
I could hardly belive it.
I told him that I was perfectly happy with my grips and didn't need a thing.
He closed the call with "Well I'll put you on the free batteries for life program".
O.K. thanks guys..........
Now that is customer service!
Craig
I got some batteries from them too - didn't even ask for them, they just sent them. Amazing.

As was mentioned, great customer service. I had a few questions after purchasing my CT grips, emailed response came very quickly. Plus they have a forum in their website with even faster service/response.
Can't say enuff about that. Truly a company that understands the value of customer service!
I salute them for that!
Hey Joe...my CT grips have yet to melt in my glovebox.

Good to hear, with nobody melting them in Iraq or Afgahnistan, I figured we were in pretty good shape.
Thanks for the kind words. The tone for any Customer Service Department is set from the top down. It is nice to be able to treat people like I'd want to be treated and be completely supported in doing so.
Where else does the boss ask, Hey did you get a chance to surf gun forums today...? what are they saying about us...?
I love my job. Joe ;)

So when are you guys going to make a grip for my Walther P-99?
Not to hijack this thread but I didn't want to start a new one...
Anyway, I just odered a LG-617 for my Glock 17 and was wondering if there was an on/off switch like the CT grips on my J frame?
Also, how do you get on the batteries for life program?

The CTC grips for the glock dont have a designated on off switch, it only has the activation button on the back of the grips. It is possible with a little bit of practice to grip the gun without activating the laser since the button is alittle higher up than the one on the J frame designe. As for the batteries for life program i heard (not 100% sure) that you had to purchase and regester the grips with CTC before June of this year. Now I could be wrong but I belive that was the guide line, Team CTC-Joe could give you a more accurate answer.

I've tried to work the grip w/out activating the laser. T'aint easy!
Thanks for the info guys, I got my Glock grips and have them installed and "bore sighted" not sure when I'll get to the range to try them out (probably this weekend) but I'm excited about giving them a go.
I do wish there was an on off switch for when I may want to use the sights without the laser. Oh well, maybe I'll just buy another Glock 17 like I planned anyway.

umc,
Don't worry about the laser. If it's bright enough to see your metal sights, the laser will be dim enough to be ignored. In fact, if you are outside in broad daylight, you probably won't even see the dot.

Not much use in the field, but at the range you could always just pull the batteries out...

I love my CTC grips for my Glocks! They're sturdily built and still fit in all of my holsters whether its my nylon chest holster and shoulder rigs from Blackhawk, a worn old Uncle Mike's IWB, even my Blade Tech IWB! The only one I let go was my Galco ankle rig because the thumbbreak isn't adjustable.
About their service...
I emailed them about some mixups with shims when I bought four CTC units (2 for the 19, 2 for the 26) and they responded immediately...within hours of my email! They even offered to send me a shirt/ and or cap for the inconvenience they had nothing to do with! Now THAT's customer care!
Too bad I'm overseas right now. :frown: Maybe they'll send them anyway? ;)
Thanks again CTC for a great product and even greater service!
