I did a search & couldn't find anything. This is my first laptop & I bought it used.
SO could someone please tell me where to find a good price for one.
I noticed they make different ones, nicad etc. :dunno: ?? What is the good, the bad about the different ones ??
Also, what about the remanufactured ones that I have seen ??
THANKS in advance for taking the time to help me out !!!!!!!

You could start by checking out the website of the manufacturer -- see what they are recommending, and see if you really need a new battery.
Also I suggest you look at this forum...

APC (American Power Conversion), long known for their UPS systems, also have laptop power supplies and batteries:

I've had good experiences with Pacific Battery Systems (http://www.pacificbattery.com/). Their prices are good and they ship quickly.

It might help if you would post the manufacturer, model, serial number, etc.
Ebay had mine for $5.00 a piece listed on a closeout sale so I got two. They were brand new in the wrappers and 100% premium quality OEM factory batteries. And they fit in place of the floppy disk drive on my Micron NX!
Get the type of battery that came with the laptop.
