Even "XM193PD" @ $180 per 1k is a good deal (at today's prices) IMHO.....
If anyone knows where I can pickup a pile (10k or more) of XM193 please PM me.

I think the 855PD isn't as disliked as the XM193PD.

You'd be better off using the Russian Wolf(though that doesn't say much) over the XM855PD, it's basically floor sweepings of the bottom of the barrel QC rejects.
Check out the new Prvi Partisan M193 that Wolf is importing.. good stuff. I was getting 2.5-3 MOA consistantly with 10 shot groups with it. Havn't checked prices recently, but I've bought 2000 rounds from OMC last time I was there for around $400. It's good ammo, seems pretty consistant for military style ammo. Prvi Partisan is one of the best ammunition manufacturers in Europe.
Another one to check out is the Adcom M855. Avoid the early stuff, but the 03 and onwords date stamp seems great. I've shot almost 1000 rounds of it, all 03 date. Paid $175/1000 for it at the PDX gun show. Makes great plinking ammo.
Also, you can get the Federal AE .223 with a cannelured 55gr FMJBT(basically an M193 bullet loaded to .223 pressure) for about $200/1000. It should frag just fine out of a 20", and maybe out of a 16".

I'm looking for prices at 200 or under. I have some Wolf on order and don't mind plinking with it. I already have a few boxes of 60gr TAP on order for possible varminting/SD. Looking for 855 for SHTF. Only want a 1k of that. After that it is all Wolf and some replacement TAP as I use it.
i bought 5K of it last week and got it in 4 days.

If they hadn't run out of stock, I'd have been shocked if you didn't get a different email, stating that your purchase was subject to additional "heavy item" shipping fees. I got that last time I ordered ammo from Sportsmans Guide...and I just wanted 3000 rounds of handgun ammo.
20K rounds in one purchase? Damn...do you have something full-auto and belt-fed that we should know about?
