92FS in OD

Hi last week a guy traded a Colt (blue label) rifle along with a 92FS that has a OD green frame. The shop owner wants $450.00 for the 92FS, and $975.00 for the Colt, which if only I had the cash to spend I would get.

But what do you folks think about the 92FS? Is this 92FS anything special or what? I've traded my M9 for a German Sig 226, I thought well of it, the Sig shot really well, and it was built in Germany.

But now I'm thinking of buying another 92FS. And to let everyone know the this particular 92FS to me is un-fired.

If it's nothing special, I'll pass for another one when I know I have enough money.

It is a limited addition.They only made a one time special run of them.Something to think about.That sounds like a good price for it too.Ask at the berettaforum.net about them.There's some good info there.

An unfired normal 92FS is worth at LEAST $600 (it's basically NIB). An OD one (i didn't even know they made them) is worth more.

Guy's, I was at the store just yesterday, and it's gone along with the Colt AR15. It's a shame, but I'm sure there will be another one.
