I'm looking to get another sportbike and would like some riding impressions from people who either own one of the ones I'm looking at or know someone who does.

I'm seriously considering the GSXR 750 and the GSXR 1000, also the Honda CBR1000R, and in a fit of indecisiveness I'm actually really digging the new Triumph 675.

I prize handling over brute power, and I want something light and flickable. So far I'm seriously leaning towards the Gixxer 750, but we'll see.

If it means anythign to you, Kevin Schwantz says the new 750 feels EXACTLY like the new 600, just with more power. If you look closely that is because it bassially is just a bored out version of the new 600. They weigh exactly the same almost (within a pound IIRC), have the same dimensions, even look exactly the same. i think with superbike racing going to the literbikes, Suzuki wanted to make the 750 something different. So they truned it into a 600 with more stomp instead of a de-tuned 1000.

So , GSX-R 750 gets my vote. ;)

The GSX-R1000 is an outstanding sportbike. I had one for 5 years. I only sold it because I wanted something more comfortable as I'm getting out of the supersport scene.

Triumph 675. If you want something light and flickable, you won't get anything moreso unless you get a 125/250GP or supermoto bike.
Suzukis are good bikes, but the Triumph is amazing. Not only is it lighter on the scales, it feels lighter at speed. flicks almost by telepathy, too. The sound of the motor is pure music, perhaps even nicer than my Termi-equipped 749. Throw on the Ti Arrow exhaust, and it doesn't get any better.
Dunno if you put any weight on uniqueness, but the 675's got that too. Every squid and his brother has a Gixxer. It's like they come in the mail with samples of laundry detergent.
