new owner of a brand new Glock 21C

Everyone I would like to brag a little, even boast a little bit.. While I blow my own horn and proudly say I am the new owner of a brand new Glock 21C (3rd gen).

I got the pistol for a Shooting Range I frequent every now and then. It was an older model I assume made before the ending of the ban because it came with the older style “Tupperware” design case & 2x ten round magazines. The Store owner even threw in 2x 13 rounds magazines at “cost” for another $17 a piece. Bring my grand total around $640.

I have had this magnificence animal in my possession for about a 2 weeks and haven’t found the time to fire it yet.. Maybe I will go tomorrow…

I was thinking of getting night site for it but I keep getting told that they will burn out quicker. Has anyone had a personally experience with this happening/ I was thinking that in the winter time I could switch out the barrel and use it for a daily carry in the winter time.

Could you explain the reason for switching the barrel for daily carry, winter or summer?

I was told that the ports of the gun.. will burn out the night site.. if that is true.. then I would switch out the barrel for daily carry.. and the vented barrel for target practices...

Have had glock 21-c for four years w/nite-sites, shoot 45 super and ball. Zero problems with meps beadie eye;)
