Police Officers that carry G17's.

Greetings Glockers.

Philadelphia PD are issued G17's.Of course, I've seen veteran officers with revolvers in their holsters as well.But its the G17 for the most part.

I also heard Washington D.C. cops carry the G17.NYPD are famous for their G19's loaded with Speer Gold Dots 124gr. +P.

What other depts. carry the G17 ?

NM state Police use them.
Almost every agancy is switching to the 22/23 .

I could be wrong, but I remember reading when glocks first hit the scene, Miami-Dade was one of the first to adopt the G17.Shortly after, they switched to the G22.

I carried my G-17 1st gen. until we went to Sig P228's. Now, I'm issued a P220R and I'm not complaining. I do need to buy a G-17 3rd gen for the house.:thumbsup: And, of course, my main CCW is my G-26.

I don't see many 17's in my neck of the woods but I do know of one agency here that uses the model 34.
