What are the pros and cons of each.
Shooting impressions of both?
Reliability and accuracy?

I owned a G21 years ago but recently found a good deal on a USP 45 full-size and may buy it.
All input is appreciated.

I have both. Both are great guns. Both are more accurate than me, but I think the USP might be a little more accurate than the G21. Full capacity magazines for the USP are $50.00 and hard to find. Magazines for the G21 can be found for $20.00. I have had some feeding problems and light strikes with my handloads in the G21, but the USP has fed and fired everything I've put in it. I never had a problem with factory ammo in either one. I like the fact that the USP has a hammer and can be carried cocked and locked.

Overall I like the USP best, but I would not want to get rid of my G21.

Where can you get the full capacity H&K magazines and why are they hard to find?
The gun I found comes with 4 10-rd mags. One has the finger extension on the bottom.
I would like to have at least 2 of the 12-rounders if I were to buy the gun. The 10-rounders will be fine for range duty.
Thanks!

I bought three from CDNN, but the last time I checked they were out of stock. I have seen them on Gunbroker for $50 to $70. I have seen them for sale at HKPRO.com. They are out there, you just have to search for them.

You can normally find used HK mags on hkpro.com for around $35 or so, in excellent condition. I recently bought 4 of them there. I'd get the USP if you're able to as it's a great pistol. The Glock 21 is another great pistol and having both like I do is a bennie.

Mags are not hard to find. 10 rounders are less expensive then the 12. I am not a glock guy so I went with the HK. I have not shot the 21 but I am sure it is great if you like Glock. My HK has been awesome! It is very accurate and relibable. You will not be sorry if you pick one up.

Also, the HK's retain their price better. So if you wish to get rid of it later you can actually get somethin from it

My thoughts exactly.
I can pick this one up for $475 + tax with a H&K box (not numbered to the gun but close enough) owner's manual and (4) 10-rd mags.

Depends on region. My dealer has a bunch of used USPs that have been sitting on his shelf for a while. They are fairly priced (low to mid $500s-low $600s) and are in very good condition. When I sold my USPf 9mm and USPc .45 I was lucky to get $500 for them from either dealers or private parties.

In my experience, as a percentage Glocks hold their value better, HKs sell for more used because they cost more from the get go. Plus, Glocks move A LOT faster and practically sell themselves, ask any dealer.

I am still lukewarm about the USP series. I would rather have a Glock over any base model USP (as in, not a Tactical, Expert, or Elite). Now my P7 on the other hand.... ;)

Oh, that is a good price on that USP though.
