Colt Price Increase

I finally located a brand new Colt AR15 (model MT6731). The dealer wants $1,500. When I stated everyone else is listing the gun for about $999 - $500 less - he stated Colt has recently raised their prices. Is this true. I realize finding a Colt AR is difficult, but I did not think I would have to put out an additional $500. I am wondering if the dealer is charging a premium since he has probably the last available brand new Colt rifle available.

I wouldn't doubt it, as they are highly sought after, but I don't know with certainty.

That's a bit high for the 6731, but not entirely out of line for retail given the demand.

Dealer price for the 6731 runs around 904.50. give or take at different wholesalers.
