I posted something similar in the Carry section, but I thought I'd ask here too.
I want to get a 33 barrel for my 27. Does anyone here ccw a 27 converted to .357?

I did until the G33 came out.

I used an aftermarket 357 Sig barrel in a G27 until the G33 came out.I bought the first G33 I saw.The aftermarket barrel had a bit of a tight chamber but it worked. One thing to watch that may or may not be a problem is the early G27's had shorter ejectors. The later G27's came with the longer ejector which is the same long ejector that came on all G33's.The shorter one didn't cause a problem in G27 conversion but it's something that can be easily updated.

All subcompact frames are reinforced and come with the 357 Sig style frame rails. So the G27's don't have a problem there.Infact Glock used to only sell the G33 barrel but not the other 357 Siig barrels because they didn't want anybody to put a 357 Sig barrel in an older 40 S&W model except the G27 which were all strong enough. These days Glock no longer officially supports any caliber conversions but you can buy the factory barrels. As long as you use a factory barrel it should be reliable enough to carry. If your G27 serial number begins with the letter "E" you may want to check with Glock if it's on the frame replacement list.

I've been carrying a converted 27 using a Glock 33 bbl for a couple of yrs. Works great. I'd buy a G33, but so far haven't felt the need to duplicate the expenditure.
