Kahr M9093-Box

Does anyone have experience or the pros and cons of the MK9 two tones?

The M9093 seems good and I just ordered one.
I figure if I stay away from the polymer Im set for a good run.

Unless you live in an exceptionally humid climate there shouldn't be any cons. Some of the "box" models come with just one magazine, but I have seen some with two.
BOX means black oxide - it is not the same as the DLC finish found on the polymer models but it should be OK under the normal conditions.
I would suggest carrying it in the good small, non-lined belt holster and you would be just fine.
The best holster I ever had for that particular pistol is by Josh Bulman - QRP - it is a quick on/off belt holster fitting the pistol like a glove.

As Mecenas stated, on the Box the black on the slide is a Black Oxide finish. I would add, that finish is over a carbon steel slide in most cases.

Anyone know where I can get an MK9 BOX? I like my wife's MK9 Elite better than my PM9 (both have been 100% reliable)...

Ouch. I got an Elite w/Night Sights for $620. The BOX versions should be about $450? with Night Sights.

FYI. The Kahr website now shows the MK9 BOX as being discontinued.

Yes, they came with one mag. Kahr has done this with other "economy" models to get the MSRP down.
