Last year I stupidly traded my H&K USP .45f. I've regreted it ever since the day I shipped it off. Well a couple Glocks and 1911s latter I'm back to the good stuff. I traded a Springfield stainless loaded even for a almost new USP40f. The pistol came with 2 13 round LEO marked mags and a shado askins style holster. I was told it only had 40 rounds through it as a test fire and has sat in a safe ever since, the only wear was ver minor on the barrel hood. I'm very pleased with it, it is an AD date code.

I got to take her out and run a few rounds through her. This is my first .40 and I wasn't shure what to expect. Accuracy was good, a 2" ragged whole at 15 yards, about 3" low and 1.5" left the gun would probably do better with a different trigger acctuator nut. Function was flawless as was expected. The DA trigger could be a bit lighter but was resonably smooth, the SA trigger was very nice, I woudn't want it any lighter almost no over travel. Recoil was very slight, comparable to a Glock 9mm, much softer than a 1911 in .45.

I plan to put a truglo TFO front sight on it and a millet adjustable rear and possibly a jet funnel if it will fit in the IDPA box with one, I think it could be a good ESP gun. Or I may leave the funnel off and shoot it in SSP if I can get used to the heavy DA pull, seems a lot heavier than my last USP or my old Berretta.
