I shot some of this today and its good stuff. Quite low recoil and little flash. I recommend trying this out if you haven't. The jello data from Mike is impressive too!

What did you shoot it out of and did you chrono it? :)

Hi Dobbler,

It was out of a Sig 229 and I am a poor, engaged, soon to be dad, grad student. So, I don't have a chrono.;)

One of these days I will get me a 32 because I really like my G20, but it will be awhile. Take care,

Andy

McNett's 147 gr. 357 SIG loads have been out for a year now. Any updates on consumer's tests, or performance on game etc.?

I wish DT would make some 147g FMJ practice rounds.

I would like to hear McNett's opinion on which would be the better choice for a self defense gun. Mike ?

For all-around carry I really like the 125gr. load. For home defense, the 115gr. is my favorite. The 147gr. load makes me really happy when it is cold and BG's are bundled up.

I haven't posted much lately, but thanks for the reply Mike. I always wondered what you thought about your 357Sig loadings. I guess I could have just emailed you.

I keep going back and forth b/t the 147 and 125. Can't make up my mind. I like your thinking though.
