Which is the real difference between red and blue loctite? With the red one i won't be able to uninstall the front sight anymore? Red is real permanent?
I saw old messages... there's who used the red one and someone the blue one...
I'm confused :) and don't know which one to use... I want to install front sight... but, not *forever* :)
Do you think that loctite blue #243 can keep the front sight untill i want to uninstall it?

The red is not permanent as some would lead you to believe. It is a lot stronger than the blue but the front sight screw can still be removed after using the red. If you ever need to uninstall the front sight and it does not want to break loose using the standard method of unscrewing it then just hold a soldering iron or lighter to it to heat it up just a little and should come loose pretty easy.
When I install my sights I personally use the red and forget about it. Have never had one come loose nor have I ever had any trouble getting it off if I wanted to replace it.
I use blue - no problems.

I used to use red and was able to remove a couple of front sights without heating. Then, I broke a front sight screw and switched to blue. However, I noticed just this morning that the front sight on my G37 is a bit loose. I'm going back to red.
