Well, I found a deal on my first love of Kahr pistols, a P9. I was able to swap the AO night sights from my P45 to my "new" P9 that I found in a local shop. Don't misunderstand, I loved the P45, but as I stated before, it's no pocket gun unless I want to change it's dimensions like other posters did.
I had a P9 first, and tried the P40, two K9's and the P45. I liked them all, but the P9 was and is my first love. I only regret not having the funds to have the P45 as well.
I shot my new aquisition today and it fed WWB and Magtech just fine. A tweak of the AO sights got me back on and Corbon 115 jhp (maybe DPX) will be the standard carry load. Feels good to be home again.

Nice to see a P9 fan. My first Kahr was a k40. Was not fond of the weight and it had some unloading issues. Would jam when you tried to eject a loaded roung. I love the P9 though.

Well, I wasn't sure about the AO sights.
Up close, they are scary fast for defensive type work. I lost some group size due to the large dot, but all rounds stay within the area covered by the front sight out to my testing distance of 25 yards.
I was playing with it recently and was shooting bowling pins at 50 yards. Once I figured out where to hold the sights, at the top of the dot (just like the manual says)I was hitting about 75% of the time. Not too shabby for a smaller defensive pistol.
the tritium dot / lines are bright, better than the trijicons in my Beretta, but to be fair they are 6 yers older.

I agree on the P9/CW9 being the best of 'em. I've shot a couple PM9s and the steel models... and I just cant see trading in my CW9 on any of them. :)
