Installing Trijicons on a G22

Can this be easily done at home, or would this require a gunsmith or special tool? I was considering AmeriGlo, Meps, or Trijicons, and think I'll go with the Trijicons. Any input on which to choose, and if it would be doable at home? Thanks all.

You will need a special tool for the real sight, most local gun shops should have it. the front is just held on with a small screw. pretty easy to do with the equipment.

I recently put Trijicon's on my G19, G26, and G30. I used the MGW sight tool, and it went very easy.

I'm planning on putting trijicons or meps on my G23, what influenced your decesion? What color sights are you picking?

I've always heard, and believed, that Trijicons were the best. They appear to be the industry standard. I'm going for green front with yellow rear sights. I'm a big fan of the contrast. I'm still debating on just putting on the front sight, though...

How does that little machine work? It's just a clamping tool right?

The sight tool holds the slide as it pushes the rear site side-to-side.

I've got the universal sight pusher from Midway. Works fine for Glocks small and largee, as well as Kahr and many others.

I don't like the Trijicons on my G26. There's almost no light between the front sight blade, and the rear notch. You'd have more on a G22, but still not "enough." Heinie Slant Pro night sights are much better.
