View Full Version : AK47S value?
Local shop has a Norinco stamped AK 47s in 7.62x39,in good to very good condition, pistol grip(wood)stock set with a slant break and bayonet lug.Asking price is $449.Anyone know what he has and what it might actually be worth?Thanks...
One question ???, why are you on line and NOT buying that gun ???
Does it say mac 90 on it ? make sure it's 922 compliant .
Bugout,I didn't see "Mac 10" on it anywhere, but it does have "Prochine" on it and it says "Made in China".also that it was imported by Sherwood Int'l Export in Northridge,Ca...Plus I have now talked him down to $399...Tomorrow,maybe $375?...
You suck , I hate you very,, very much !!!;)
Go get that thing and show some pics , you wait to long and you will be sorry !!!

Look at this site ...:)
http://www.ak-47.us/Chinese.php
If you see any import name that says B-WEST , RUN !!!
The only other thing I noticed was the slant brakeis not held by the usual spring-loaded pin,it appears to have been spot welded. There is no pin, just a hole in the front sight assembly where the pin and spring used to be,easy fix though...

YEEHAW!!! $400 OTD,including the Oregon $10 NICS fee,so I only spent $5 more than I would've if he had agreed to $375,and he threw in a sling that he said he "thought" might have come off it in first place...

Bugout,I have 3 days off,my G/F is out of town til Monday, and I have very little on my schedule.Well, actually nothing,EXCEPT shooting my new AK.
If I can remember how my digicam operates I'll get pics soon.
But,I still have no clue as to its value, and this is a mildly important bit of info,as I really only got it to trade it or sell it...eventually....
I did find a website that identifies it pretty well,though...

Well, droptop,(BTW,Droptop amber ale is one of my favorite beers),thank you,but as I stated earlier,I only got it because it was priced low,I fully intend to sell or trade it in the near future. It does shoot well, though. However,I have no idea of its trade/sale value...Any ideas? Thanks

Changing the stock on a AK does improve the look & feel of the weapon. This is a before/after pic of my stamped Norinco.
