Hey all,
I recently installed an Agrip on my 19c and I was wondering if anyone out there ever installed a CT laser on a glock that already had an agrip on it? I know you'd have to punch 2 holes into the agrip for the pin for installation. Anybody try this? Is the Agrip thin enough to allow a good fit?

Brooks and I have had several converstions on this.
I have tried it both ways Lasergrip over A-grip and A-grip over the Lasergrip, both had poor results.
Thickness of the A-grip is a deal breaker for putting the Lasergrip over it.
Putting the A-grip over the Laser resulted in nearly destroying the A-grip to change batteries.
Some have tried cutting thier A-grip in the Lasergrip area... I have not seen one that looked that good. This is the only viable joint use of both products.

If you did it right, you could trim away the area where the Laser goes. I trimmed my AGRIP around the mag release and slide lock and it looked good.

Thanks for the replies. I'll give this some thought. Maybe I'll try cutting the Agrip, they're cheap. I just like how non-slip the grip is when one is installed.

Hey Joe,
Perhaps the future will bring a CT-ready Agrip that is precut.

The ball is in Brooks court (A-Grip Tactical) on that one. To his credit, he send us several sets to try to integrate design. (it is nice when companies cooperate to the benefit of the customer, Brooks is good people)
The A-grip is a good product and I can understand why people like it.
For now, I have not yet found a way to make it work well with the Lasergrip.

It seems like a relatively easy thing to do on your end........why could you not just supply a template (a pattern) of the underside of a lazer grip and let the consumer cut his own area out with this.....this could even be done online at your sight for an easy down load for any of the models.....Agrips already require some cutting for a perfect fit.........laying this template centered on the backstrap and cutting it out before putting it on the gun I believe would do the trick........I have an extra AGRIP and already own one of your LG-619's if you want to experiment with me!
BTW CT's are great and their customer service is the best in the industry..........I would not own another gun without them

Including templates/instructions for modifying another companies products could create problems. Only the company who manufacturers the product should give advice on how to modifiy its intended function.
