Just got back from the gun store and bought a NIB G-19 w/ night sights and was wanting another G-23, but they were out of them and said they were on backorder through their distributor. The guy showed me the 26, 27, 30 and 36. I think the 36 is the best fitting 45 that I have tried. I went ahead and bought it too. I hope I did not make one of those impulse buys that I will regret. Can you guys fill me in on what I should expect out of this little booger. I have and carry on/off duty a G-23 and am wondering if the recoil and kick will be any better or worse than my G-23.

Also, I am looking for a mag carrier for these small slim line mags. Anybody have a line on any? I see that Fobus makes a double mag pouch for them, and I love their paddle holsters. I may have to get one of those. Thanks...

btw, this makes my 4th & 5th Glock handgun that I own. Pics to follow...

The G-36 is for me the most concealable .45 caliber. You feel the push of the mighty .45 just a little more because of the smaller surface area in the hand. I had no problems from the one I owned.

I carry a Glock 27 now because it is not as long or tall and because it holds 10 rounds as opposed to the six rounds of the G-36.

I sure like my Glock 36. It is a good shooter and very easy to pack. It will handle everything from standard ball to hot loads like the 230+P HST.

Congrats on the 36, Ive had mine 3 months and 1k or so rounds and she will consume anything I feed her with great accuracy. Enjoy!

I find my G36 milder compared to the G23 (G32 with OEM G23 barrel).
