I'm having some aim issues with my new Mepros, and I'm starting to wonder if my sights might be misaligned (because, you know, my sight picture alignment is perfect otherwise  ).

I'm thinking about getting an Aimshot boresight laser to help confirm alignment, mostly because I'm not near a place where I can easily set up a benchrest and do live-fire alignment. So I have two questions:
1) Assuming I have a sight pusher (I do), are boresight lasers a useful expense?
2) Are there any competing products besides Aimshot that I should look at?

AdvTHANKSance!

I'm using my brothers Laserlyte now. My Meps I put in were easy to adjust with it, unfortunately my M6 won't adjust the way it's supposed to. It's stuck on down and to the right from the bore.
It does a good job on sights though.

I just used mine to zero my CT grips on my Beretta 92. Works awesome and very easy to use.
