View Full Version : Aimpoint ML2 Dimensions?
What is the length and diameter of the rear portion of the ML2 that is larger than 30mm? I'm trying to work out what sort of mount to order to clear my sights (custom gas-tube weaver mount & Mojo ghost ring rear sight on an AK47).

From my semi-crude measurements it looks like the diamater of the rear portion of my M2 (should be the same as the ML2) is roughly 38 mm and the length of the rear portion (from the end of the 30mm tube back to the eyepiece) is roughly 57-58 mm. Hope this helps. For helping you out will you post a pic of this setup when you get it all together?

Thanks! I posted a pic of the rifle with a Leupold Scout on it earlier, and will post again after the ML2 is on. I love the Leupold -- I can shoot within an inch at 100 yards with it, but trying a recent local tactical match I found that magnification has a problem -- the image is discontinuous where the scope eyepiece and the background meet, making it very hard to shoot while moving. And that's an important thing. . .
