Just wondering. Was just checking dist. stock on a G30 with Night Sights, and noticed they list them as 9rd.

Mine came with one nine round magazine and one ten round magazine.

If my G30 came with a 9 rounder I don't have a clue where it went.

BTW, where did Wedge say that MrMurphy? It wasn't in a movie so it must be a novel.

I bought mine a few years ago, and it came with 10 rounders

I can't load 10...only 9. Anyone else have this problem?

If it says ten, then it will hold ten. I just bought a 30 and it came with two ten round mags. It is extremely tough to get all ten in.

Hold the mag with 9 rounds in it and tap the base on the palm of your other hand a few times and you should be able to get the tenth round in, but it will still be tough.

Another slight problem is getting the magazine in with ten rounds in the mag into the grip when the slide is closed. I have found that pressing firmly on the mag base while holding the top of the slide firmly against the other hand palm works nicely. Personally I wish they would have designed the 30 mags with the little extra room needed to make the tasks mentioned slightly easier.

Mine came with 10 rounders as well. It is getting easier to get the 10 round in the mags as time goes by. Leave them fully loaded and they seem to 'break in.'

Thanks, I'll try it.

I also have found this to be a problem.

Mine came with a 9 and 2 10s. I have come to love the 9 when I CCW since it really helps in the printing issue. Only took a few minute to get used to shooting with either cap mag.
