30 cal bore sight

Can anyone recommend a good bore sight that doesn't cost a lot of money?

I need to do the initial adjustments for new peep sight on a Savage 99 rifle chambered for 300 Savage.

Personally I'd just eyeball it center within its range of adjustment (assuming the mounting has been done properly centered on the receiver) and then testfire at 25yds or even closer if necessary. One round will tell you where to need to start moving at 25 (x4) to proceed to the 100yd line and refine.
