What do you use for defense ammo in 9x18 makarov?

Three choices.
Barnaul 95gr JHP.
Silver Bear 120gr JHP (after reducing the overall length).
Hornady JHP and Speer Gold Dot bullets loaded to about 1100fps.
I like the Hornady JHP XTP bullet but Hornady loads the 9x18 too weak, 921fps.
I wish Hornady or Speer would make a 115gr .364 JHP bullet but that's not likely.
I still have to load the 1100 gold dots I bought last year, cost me 90 bucks including shipping
Prefer the 115 gr JHP flavour but all I see right now are the 94gr HP out there. I guess I'm stalling hoping the 115 gr stuff comes rolling in soon.

Any thoughts on Georgia Arms' 9X18 Gold Dot offering, rated at 1,000 fps? I believe it's a 95-grain bullet.
As I said in another thread, I don't mind paying for it, but I prefer ammo that burns clean.

I have a Hornady XTP in the chamber, and magazine with alternating Wolf 100g FMJ and XTP. I believe I've seen reports on the XTP loads that show excellent penetration despite the low MV, and I figure it doesn't hurt to have some solids in there too. For practice I can reload with XTP bullets to duplicate the factory rounds, and the Wolf is cheap enough that I don't have to economize there.

I have some of the old Corbon stockpiled. I also have a couple of boxes of the old Federal Classic HP in my inventory.
